This is the incredible moment a lion crashed into a safari jeep leaving a dent in its door after being chased by a rival.

Albert Kimaro was leading a safari through Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, on March 5 when a pair of rivals battled nearby.

Amazing footage shows one male swiping aggressively at another encroaching lion towards one of the vehicles.

Unaware of its surroundings, the chased lion crashed into the driver’s door of one of the jeeps leaving a huge dent in the metal.

Albert said: “I have been a guide for eight years but I have never seen anything like this.

“One lion had come from another pride and wanted to try and ingratiate himself in another.

“The head of the other pride clearly didn’t want that to happen and chased its rival off with as much aggression as possible.

“It was absolutely incredible to see the power of the king of the jungle. Just by crashing into the jeep’s door it left a massive dent into the car.

“It was clearly a bit dazed by its collision but it did get back up and walked away comfortably quickly afterwards.”
