U.S. Air Force Delivering Critical Humanitarian Aid in Times of Conflict in Gaza

In a show of support for civilians affected by the ongoing conflict in Gaza, the U.S. Air Force conducted a humanitarian aid mission on March 11, 2024. Loadmasters aboard HC-130J Combat King II aircraft in Southwest Asia were seen ushering in pallets of critical supplies destined for airdrop over the region.
The rapid global mobility capability of the U.S. Air Force enabled the expedited movement of life-saving supplies, with four C-130 aircraft loaded with meals and water taking off from an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. These supplies were intended for airdrop over Gaza, providing much-needed assistance to those most affected by the conflict.
On March 8, 2024, a HC-130J Combat King II conducted an airdrop of humanitarian assistance over Gaza, delivering 16 bundles of food to civilians in need.
