Former LASD Advisory Board Member Speaks on Deputy Involved Shooting in LA, USA

A man was shot by Lancaster sheriff’s deputies early Tuesday morning in the city of Lancaster. Deputies responded to the Albertsons located at Avenue K and 20th Street West for reports of a man armed with machetes. Upon arrival, they discovered a man holding two machetes who was not complying with commands to disarm. Less lethal rounds deployed by deputies were not effective which led to an officer involved shooting. CPR was performed on the suspect who was later transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. No further details are available at this time.
