Witnessing the Severn bore: a 4-star encounter across UK's river
@clairesandys captured surfers riding the Severn Bore, a tidal phenomenon, on March 11, 2024, in Arlingham, UK. The author also captured a video of the bore at Elmore, and Framilode. They captioned the video "Finally got to see the Severn bore today! 4 star one. Saw it in 3 different places, and it was a very different experience in each." While the surfers were solely in Arlingham, Sandys did not participate in surfing. The Severn Bore is a tidal bore observed on the tidal sections of the River Severn in southwest England.
