Draymond COLLAPSES On The Court But NOBODY CARES...
Support by buying my NBA T-Shirts: https://heatcheck.info/
Last night the NBA got completely out of control. Draymond slept through a couple of possessions, and nobody said a single word about it.
Then, we got some wrestling moves straight out of the WWE. And a whole bunch of other crazy stuff.
And you know we gotta start things off with Golden State. We could see that this was going to be a wild ride even before the game started. Watch what Steph Curry does during warmups.
Dude flings it from the other side of the court, the ball flies seemingly forever, curves like a Tiger Woods golf shot, and splashes through the net. Is there anything that this guy canât do?!
Anyway, we go to the game and itâs getting a bit chippy, but things escalate whenâ¦
As unbelievable as it looks that everything just moved on as if this is normal, this is not the first time that itâs happened, and OG NBA fans remember this legendary clip of Carmelo collapsing on the floor.
Anyway, this ended up being a close game but Klay Thompson inexplicably commits 2 costly mistakes.
Why are you fouling with 40 seconds to go? Just look at Steve Kerr whoâs beside himself on the bench. Thompson was definitely not aware of the time left.
Still, they get another shot at it in the final seconds but Klay is unable to box out Terrance Mann, and this results in an offensive rebound which ultimately seals the deal for the Clippers.
These crucial mistakes along with the 4 for 14 shooting for the night made this game a nightmare for Thompson.
Moving on from this ugly performance to an absolutely heroic finish by DâAaron Fox.
With 2 minutes to go the Kings were down by 1 on the road and this is when Fox decided to take matters into his own hands.
Sacramento gets a stop and the very next possession itâs a high screen for him to take off all the way inside and the beautiful floater to make it a 3 point game forcing the Nuggets to call a time out. But what happened right out of the time out is probably the play of the game.
What a clutch performance by DâAaron on both ends of the floor, capped off by this bucket right here, a personal 8-0 run against Denver to single handedly secure a huge win for the Kings. 30 Points 8 rebounds and 8 assists, a monster night for him on the road.
The Wizards could not do anything to stop Zion under the rim. He looked like the incredible Hulk out there on the court.
36 Points on 71% from the field. I mean of course itâs that efficient when you see these shot attempts are right at the rim.
The Pelicans got the win, but in the third quarter for a moment the NBA looked like the WWE.
Even as a fellow little guy I canât help but laugh at how Shammet got lifted up by Nance.
Thankfully things didnât escalate and the refs settled this situation with the default call of double technical. Moving on.
Luka and Kyrie were once again in their element as Doncic twists and turns, and does it again then fades awaaaay and knocks it down.
He also made straight up circus shots like this one:
But the play of the game without a doubt goes to Irving as he went head to head against Wembanyama and won the battle.
I know Wemby is a phenomenal defender already but Iâm never gonna doubt one of the best finishers in NBA history and say that he got lucky.
61 points between the Mavs duo and they get an easy win at home.
Speaking of this, Anthony Davis and Rui Hachimura for the Lakers combined for 73 points and whatâs really interesting is that 2 Lakers teammates go for more than 35 points in the same game for the first time since Kobe and Shaq. Can you imagine that? Itâs been more than 20 years since this has happened. I would have been certain that Kobe and Pau did it in the meantime or maybe Lebron and AD, but no, apparently itâs Davis and Hachimura.
The ending of Cleveland vs Chicago was fire as well. Just look at these shots from Garland and White.
Then the refs called this kind of unnecessary foul with the ball still not inbounded which is a 1 shot technical, giving the Cavs a 1 point lead.
Despite that Chicago still had a chance in the closing seconds but they turn the ball away.
And with a foul to give, this meant that the Bulls have to foul twice before the clock runs out.
And after missing a shot for the win just last game, Garland goes at the line for some clutch free throws and calmly makes them both. 3 point game, so Chicago has 1 final shot to send this game into overtime.
Honestly I donât mind this miss, in fact Iâm actually glad that the Bulls have stopped defaulting to Demar Derozan in the clutch and are slowly starting to hand the keys to Coby White.
A great game nonetheless.
Wow, just before the All Star break we got one of the wildest nights of the season, and mind you this comes right after the game which had probably the worst call that youâll see this year.
Check out exactly what happened right here in this video. Talk to you in the next one. Peace out.
