Caught on CCTV: Car ploughs into people in Delhi market, 1 dead & some injured
A 22-year-old woman died while seven others sustained injuries after a speeding car rammed them in Delhi on March 13 (Wednesday).
The speeding car rammed into people in the Mayur Vihar Phase 3 area of the national capital. The incident took place at around 9.30 pm.
The CCTV footage of the incident showed the high-speed car ramming people who were busy shopping. The impact was so strong that the victims were tossed in the air for a while and fell on the road.
According to the police, seven people, including five women, sustained injuries in the incident and were rushed to a hospital where they are receiving medical treatment.
The driver of the car also sustained injuries in the incident and was admitted to a hospital for medical treatment.
