Custom officials seize over 1kg of unclaimed gold in northern India
In a recent operation, authorities have intercepted unclaimed gold of foreign origin, valued at Rs. 57.9 lakhs (USD 69878.99) in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.
The incident took place at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on March 13.
Visuals showed within the confines of the airport, nestled discreetly inside a single bag, lay a stash of concealed gold.
