A fishing boat sank in southern China, killing 2.

The video was filmed in Fuzhou City in Fujian Province on March 14. The Fujian Maritime Bureau dispatching "Haixun 0802" and other forces to the scene to carry out the rescue operation.

The fishing vessel "Minlongyu 61222" sank in the waters near Dongding Island with 6 people on board.

The Fujian Maritime Search and Rescue Center immediately activated emergency response plans, organising search and rescue operations.

They dispatched maritime and rescue professionals to the scene to conduct sea and air search and rescue efforts, while coordinating nearby fishing vessels and passing merchant ships to participate in the rescue.

According to rescue personnel on the scene, the preliminary assessment indicates that the fishing vessel sank after hitting a reef. Further investigation is needed to determine the exact circumstances.

As of now, 2 distressed individuals have been rescued, the bodies of 2 deceased individuals have been recovered, and 2 people are still missing.

福建省海上搜救中心立即启动应急预案，组织开展搜救行动，调派海事、救助等专业力量赶赴事发海域开展海空搜寻救助，协调周边渔船、过往商船参与救助。
