Wild elephant approaches cars on Thai country road
A wild elephant was seen approaching cars on a Thai country road.
Looknut Yotsawadee and her boyfriend encountered the jumbo during a road trip in Khao Ang Rue Nai, Chachoengsao, Thailand, on February 26.
Footage shows the curious elephant walking towards the cars in front of it, causing the vehicles to reverse quickly.
Looknut said: 'It was a terrifying moment for me. I almost had a heart attack.'
Elephants in the country are protected, and some can freely roam around the forest and roads.
There are believed to be around 3,000 in the wild and more in captivity.
