A kind worker helped revive a paralysed fish that moved into a new pond.

The pet koi was being transported to its new home but the car was stuck in traffic for more than an hour in Bangkok, Thailand on January 10.

When it finally arrived, the animal was too weak to move so one of the workers who renovated the property jumped in to help.

Footage shows the fish being held beside a pipe that was blowing oxygen into the pond. The exhausted fish remained in the man's hands until it slowly was able to swim.

The worker's girlfriend Mint Lalita said: ‘It showed improvement and signs of surviving so my boyfriend didn't give up on it.'

The fish survived and was returned to join the other fish in its new home.
