Woman arrested for sabotaging ballot box with paint in Moscow election
On March 15, 2024, authorities in Moscow, Russia opened a criminal case against a woman who allegedly tampered with a ballot box during elections. The woman, caught on security cameras, is accused of pouring green paint into the box at a polling station. Eyewitnesses claim she received instructions over the phone, suggesting possible coordination. The incident, classified under Article 141 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, pertains to obstructing the exercise of electoral rights or the work of election commissions. The suspect has been detained and will undergo questioning by the Investigative Committee of Moscow.
