A helicopter winched two injured ground rescuers to safety in California.
Footage shows Fresno County Fire crew flying on a Sikorsky S701i Firehawk helicopter as they pulled the rescuers who were injured while attempting to locate a lost hiker.
The rescuers met strong winds and heavy turbulence while on their way to reach the rescuers in Hemet-Ryan.
In 2023, the Hemet-Ryan Helitack crew, one of the ten bases operated by Cal Fire, received the Sikorsky Winged Rescue Award for the March 2023 hoist rescue.
