Tunisia hosts the 22nd Tunisia Song Festival from March 14 to 16. The slogan of this year's festival is "For You, Palestine" to express the Tunisian people's support for the Palestinians who have been attacked by Israel.
At the opening ceremony held in the capital of Tunis on Thursday night, singers from Tunisia, Lebanon and other countries sang patriotic songs from various Arab countries in support of Palestine.
The organizers of the festival said that this event has received strong support from artists in various Arab countries. Most of the songs they performed are old songs that encourage people to resist foreign oppression.
Dozens of Tunisian government officials and cultural figures attended the opening ceremony.
