Skyfire was back on Saturday night for the first time in five years at Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra.
The 2020 event was canceled the day before the fireworks were scheduled to go off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since its debut in 1989, Skyfire has grown to become an iconic Canberra event with tens of thousands gathering around Lake Burley Griffin to watch the sky filled with color choreographed to music on Canberra's radio stations, Hit 104.7 and Mix 106.3.
