A girl inexplicably pushed a young boy off a 1.5-metre-high platform at a mall in eastern China.

Shocking CCTV footage filmed in Shanghai on March 16 shows a boy climbing onto a raised platform, followed by a girl. As the boy bounced around playfully, the girl suddenly, without warning, pushed him off the platform.

The boy fell to the ground, completely unprepared for the sudden shove, as both sets of parents rushed to the scene.

According to the boy's mother, upon reviewing the footage, her son had not interacted with the girl at all before the incident. She further explained that her husband was nearby at the time, initially unaware of how their son had fallen. Remarkably, the girl's father witnessed the entire event, offering only brief assistance to the fallen boy before leaving with his daughter without an apology.

By the time the boy's father approached to check on his son, he realised the girl and her family had vanished from the scene.

The mother described her son as physically unharmed but visibly shaken, experiencing night terrors as a result of the ordeal. Confronted with the irresponsible actions of the girl and her father, she vowed to take legal action by contacting the authorities.

孩子妈妈介绍，儿子表面没有什么异样，但应该受到了惊吓，睡到半夜会哭喊。面对对方父女这种不负责任的行为，她表示将报警处理。
