The Divide Colorado Fire Protection District recently faced a winter storm of unprecedented magnitude, leading to the deployment of both career and volunteer personnel to ensure the safety and accessibility of the county's roads. In a video published by the district, an official vehicle is shown diligently clearing snow from the roads in the aftermath of the storm.

The district expressed their gratitude to all individuals and organizations who played a role in managing the crisis, including the Teller County Sheriff and Dispatch, Teller County SAR, Ute Pass Regional EMS, Teller OEM, and Teller Public Works. The collaboration between these entities allowed for a coordinated response to the extreme weather conditions, ultimately minimizing response times and reducing risk for emergency personnel.
