Pico Rivera Victim Fatally Shot on Sidewalk in Los Angeles, US

LASD deputies from the Pico Rivera Station and LACoFD responded to a gunshot victim on a sidewalk near the bus stop at 9315 Slauson Ave in the city of Pico Rivera. Once deputies and firefighters arrived on the scene, they located one victim suffering from a gunshot wound on the sidewalk. Firefighters and paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics and firefighters. It is unknown at this time what led up to the shooting, or any suspect, or suspects descriptions. LASD deputies had all of the westbound lanes of Slauson Avenue closed while they investigated the fatal shooting.
