Man Caught on Camera Attempting to Kidnap Teenage Girl in Glendale, Arizona

An alarming incident of attempted kidnapping in Glendale, Arizona has been captured on video, showing a man trying to abduct a 14-year-old girl walking home from school.
The disturbing footage shows the teenager walking near 9100 W. Cardinals Way when a light-coloured vehicle pulls up next to her around 1pm on 6th March. The male front passenger then exits the vehicle and begins following the girl for a prolonged period.
Thankfully, the quick-thinking victim sensed danger and ran for safety until she found a resident walking their dog, who helped her contact Glendale Police Department.
Following an investigation, 28-year-old Timothy Guan was arrested for attempted kidnapping. According to Glendale Police, Guan has an extensive criminal history, with three previous incidents of Aggravated Assault on a Minor.
The diligent efforts of Patrol Officers and Detectives in locating video evidence of the incident led to Guan's arrest, effectively removing a dangerous individual from the streets.
