Three cows were rescued after falling into a drain in central India's Madhya Pradesh.

The incident occurred in front of Degree Hostel in Pandav Nagar, Shahdol, on March 18.

Visuals showed a group of people pulling a cow from the drain with the help of a rope tied around the animal. They performed the same action with the other two cows as well.

According to reports, three cows had fallen into an open drain. The information was shared with Atal Kamdhenu Gauseva Sansthan, who reached the spot and conducted the rescue. The organisation, headed by Gaurav Mishra, used ropes to pull the cows out of the drain.

The rescue was carried out under the supervision of the cow caretakers of Atal Kamdhenu Gauseva Sansthan, Sarthak Mishra, Prakash Sen, and a few locals.
