This is the mesmerising moment seven-year-old dancers contorted their bodies into incredible positions for a traditional Thai performance.

The schoolgirls displayed their remarkable flexibility by twisting into unfathomable shapes, captivating tourists at the Long Lae market in Phang Nga province, in the south of the country.

The show concluded with the two most flexible dancers, Nong and Lek, curled like pretzels on a round silver platter with their feet next to their faces. They were then taken down from the stage and served up to the audience for them to see up close and give tips.

Having undergone rigorous training at the renowned Bang Toey district School, the girls have mastered the Menorah dance, showing the school's dedication to preserving the province's cultural heritage.

The adapted 'Flexible Menorah Dance' - a variation of the traditional Manora dance - demands exceptional flexibility and skills from the performers.
