The driver, identified as a member of the Sureno 13 Gang, pushed his vehicle to speeds of up to 100 miles per hour before being apprehended and taken into custody.

The suspect now faces multiple serious charges, including smuggling of persons, evading arrest, and the smuggling of persons with the likelihood of severe injury or death.

Ultimately, six illegal immigrants were referred to Border Patrol following the pursuit.
