Ukrainian refugee in Sydney Maria Mykytiuk who escaped from Bucha attended a protest outside ABC Ultimo after the Australian National Broadcaster aired a program called “Ukraine’s War - The Other Side” which she says left her feeling unsafe in Australia due to it taking the side of those who had committed the atrocities she witnessed in Bucha, Ukraine.

Statement from protest organisers on Facebook reads….“On Monday 18 March ABC showed a documentary 'Ukraine's War - The Other Side'. This is a clear Russian propaganda piece that glorifies the aggressor and portrays Russian invaders as 'good men'.

"It is disgusting to see ABC spending taxpayer money on purchasing Russian propaganda and airing it on prime-time TV. We will be coming to ABC's head office in Sydney with a protest against spreading Russian propaganda. We will demand for Matthew Carney, the person responsible for purchasing and airing this 'documentary', to be dismissed.”
