In a sudden turn of events on March 19, eastbound State Route 18 came to a screeching halt at the Green River bridge due to a harrowing semi truck rollover collision. The Valley Regional Fire Authority and Puget Sound Fire swiftly responded to the scene to handle the aftermath of the incident.

Fortunately, reports indicate that this was a non-injury collision. However, the closure of the eastbound lanes on SR 18 has caused major disruptions in traffic flow, leading to the diversion of vehicles onto Auburn/Black Diamond Rd. Drivers are advised to steer clear of the area until further notice.

As emergency crews work diligently to clear the debris and assess the situation, progress has been made in managing the chaos caused by the collision. Despite their efforts, there is still no estimated time for the reopening of the affected lanes on SR 18.
