A pet dog sprawled out on its back under a bar table while customers played 'Pinoy pool'.

Footage shows the six-year-old Beagle named Blue lying on its back and pretending to sleep with an amusing facial expression in Manila, the Philippines, on March 18.

Blue's owner, Lesley Anne Falcone, said the pooch was doing that to seek attention from the players and act cute.

The pooch was asked what it was doing, but it remained on the floor, barely moving and pretending to close its eyes.

Lesley said: ‘My Beagle dog is funny and always does these unexpected things when there are visitors.'

Pinoy pool is a cue sport that originated in the Philippines. It is a two-player game which is identical to pocket billiards in the US or snooker in the United Kingdom. It was invented by guerilla armies during World War II. During their vacant time, together with the American soldiers, they created a table and cue sticks and used 12 small flat discs and a puck, which served as the mother ball.
