Students wore hilarious anti-cheating hats during exams in the Philippines.

The youngsters studying Agriculture were ordered to wear the wacky headgear to prevent them from glancing at their classmates to copy the test answers.

They were even ordered to make the amusing hats themselves to obscure their peripheral views while sitting the paper in Batangas province on March 20.

Footage shows a range of shapes including chickens, knights, TVs, teddy bears, cartoon characters... and even a giant chainsaw.

For their creativity, the teacher Angelo Ebora said he had given the college students all aged between 18 and 19 a bonus point for their creativity.

He said: 'This isn't just about preventing cheating, it's also a way to reduce the pressure of the exam and encourage the students to enjoy learning, by incorporating fun activities into it.

'I told them that arriving at the exam with a hat was only optional, but they put an effort into it. I was so proud.'

In October last year, Engineering students from Bicol province also made similar amusing ‘anti-cheating' hats from recycled household materials.
