Rare two-headed kitten was born in China
A bizarre two-headed white kitten was born in China.
Footage shows the snow white-coloured moggy being cleaned hours only after its birth in Anhui province on March 15.
Its head had two mouth holes, both syringe-fed with milk, and two noses, although it only had one set of ears and eyes.
Its owner said she thought the feline would not survive, but it seemed to be in good health.
She said: 'It can be fed normally so I hope it survives.'
Diprosopus in cats is an extremely rare congenital disorder where the animal is born with two faces, or portions of two faces, on a single head. It results from abnormal embryonic development and duplicated organization of the facial structures.
