In a daring rescue operation, New York Police Department officers saved a woman from a potential suicide attempt on March 17. The incident occurred as the woman tried to jump into the East River, prompting precinct officers assigned to the Half-Marathon to quickly intervene.

With urgency and determination, the officers managed to grab hold of the woman before she could fall into the water. They bravely held onto her until the NYPD Specialops Harbor Unit officers arrived to assist them in the rescue mission.
