STORYLINE:
At least five people were killed and 10 others injured in a road accident in northwestern Türkiye on Thursday, local media reported.
According to Ihlas news agency, the accident occurred in Tekirdag province when a lorry collided with a passenger minibus.
Ihlas said ambulances and rescue teams swiftly responded to the scene, and the injured were promptly transported to nearby hospitals.
In the photographs published by the news agency, many paramedics and firefighters are seen rescuing the wounded.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
