A severe storm caused damage in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA), unleashed a deluge over the Federal Capital and caused delays in flights that were to depart from the Ezeiza terminal on Tuesday, March 19.

In the affected localities of the interior of Buenos Aires, there was damage to homes and public roads due to hail and winds of more than 150 kilometres per hour.

In the affected localities of the interior of Buenos Aires, there was damage to homes and public roads due to hail and winds of more than 150 kilometres per hour.

The storm that caused incidents in the province began in the afternoon and after 7 p.m. it had already made itself felt in some districts in the south of Greater Buenos Aires. At night, in the districts of Lanus and Avellaneda, new floods were recorded, a week after the floods left by the last storm.

A red alert was also issued at Ezeiza Airport: activities on the runway were cancelled and flights have been delayed since 17:30.
