At least one worker has been killed and eight others injured after an under-construction bridge collapsed in Supaul, Bihar, on March 22. Reports claim more than 40 labourers were working on site and just nine have been rescued.

Three pillars, on what would be the longest road bridge in India, collapsed at around 7:30 am.

The 10.2km bridge is being built over the Kosi River and connects Supaul to Madhubani.
