Conservationist sneaks food to female gorilla - so greedy husband doesn't steal it
This cute video shows a conservationist sneaking food to a gorilla - so her greedy husband doesn't steal her favourite treats.
Freya Aspinall, 20, has known Tambaby the female gorilla, 35, and silverback Kifu, 36, since birth.
Freya said: "Kifu being the silverback is always so greedy and will rob his wives including his favourite Tambaby who I'm with in the video."
"So I have to sneak her food when he's not looking."
Freya was introduced to the gorillas, who live in Howletts Wild Animal Park in Bekesbourne, Kent, from a very young age.
Freya's dad Damian Aspinall is the chairman of The Aspinall Foundation, which partners with Howletts to rewild their animals.
Freya has a particularly strong relationship with Tambabi and only her and her dad can safely interact with them after years of building trust, a representative of Howletts said.
