Two women bravely fended off armed robbers at a household in Hyderabad, Telangana, on March 21.

CCTV footage captured a mother, 45, and her teenaged daughter pushing one of the robbers wearing a helmet out of the building and grappling him to the ground.

The duo eventually chased the man out of the premises and entered their home as a group of locals approached to check on them.

The local police force has begun a search for the armed robbers.

Two brave women bravely fended off a robbery attempt in southern India's Telangana.

The incident took place in the Paigah Colony area of Begumpet in Hyderabad on March 21.

Visuals showed two women, mother and daughter bravely fighting off the robbers, thwarting their robbery attempt. One of the two robbers, wearing a helmet, tried to escape from the house but the two brave women didn't make things easy for him. They attempted to pin him to the ground and were also successful in doing so to some extent before he found a way out to run away from the house. Few more men, presumably locals, subsequently accompanied the two women as they made their way back to the house where the other robber was present. Afraid of such a big crowd, he ran away as well.

According to the details, the two robbers entered a house in Paigah Colony and began threatening the residents of the occupants, a 45-year-old woman, and her teen daughter not only raised an alarm but also fought with the robbers and foiled their attempt.

A case has been registered in Begumpet Police Station and the search for both the robbers is going on.
