Terrorist attack in Moscow. What is known so far:

According to preliminary data, 40 people were killed and more than 130 were injured during the terrorist attack. Four victims are in serious condition.

At around 20:26, five unknown persons opened fire in Crocus City Hall, at which time a concert of the Picnic group was taking place there. Emergency services began evacuating people.

At 20:33 an explosion occurred in the concert hall, as a result of which the roof caught fire and the roof began to collapse. The fire consumed a third of the building.

At 20:49, the governor of the Moscow region, Vorobiev, went to the scene of the incident.

SOBR and OMON soldiers, more than 30 regional and 20 Moscow ambulance brigades, fire brigades and helicopters to extinguish the roof were sent to the scene of the incident. Around 10 p.m., the top floor of the building began to collapse.

At 21:20 a second explosion occurred in the building.

Security measures have been strengthened at the capital's airports and railway stations.

At around 21:35, special forces entered the building and the evacuation of the dead and wounded began.

All sports, cultural and other public events this weekend have been canceled in Moscow and Lipetsk.

The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case about a terrorist attack in the Moscow region, and the governor of the Moscow region reported 21 wounded as a result of the shooting in Crocus.
