STORYLINE:

Foreign exhibitors attending a food and drinks fair in China's Chengdu are keen to expand their business in China.

The three-day China Food and Drinks Fair wrapped up on Friday.

SOUNDBITE 1 (English): RICHARD SLINGERLAND, Exhibitor
"Here we are at the Chengdu wine exhibition fair. This is my 8th year attending the exhibition. It's been a great experience. This year we have very knowledgeable visitors and buyers coming to our booth. It's much more important and valuable to have real customers who are ready to buy, who know what they're looking for and that we can actually have a real serious meeting with. So this year at the exhibition I've been extremely happy and I'm going to recommend more of my colleagues from Canada to join us again."

SOUNDBITE 2 (Chinese): BILL JR. COLEMAN, Exhibitor
"Our trading company has been participating in the Food and Drinks Fair for over a decade. We represent some exceptional products, including ice wine, which sells well in Chengdu, and across China. We showcase our products and aim to develop this market further, which is very important to us."

SOUNDBITE 3 (English): MATHIEU CARON, Exhibitor
"The feedback from everyone has been extremely positive. We're feeling very motivated to see the next steps for us here.
It's been quite a good time so far. We've been here for a couple of days now, definitely gonna come back for more."
