U.S. Air Forces Central and U.S. Army Central recently executed a collaborative effort to deliver much-needed humanitarian aid to Gaza through joint airdrop operations. Two AMC C-17 Globemaster III aircraft, dispatched from an undisclosed location within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, spearheaded the mission on March 21, 2024.

The deployment of these aircraft, coupled with the expertise of personnel specializing in sustained airdrop operations from South Carolina's Joint Base Charleston, underscores the United States' commitment to expediting aid delivery to civilians grappling with the consequences of the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
