A pet cats in Indonesia have a strange taste for licking and eating balm.

The cat licked and ate the balm rub from the bottle. It even enjoys it like we enjoy licking our favourite ice cream.

The expression on the cat's face as it eats the balm is hilarious. His nose is running and his eyes are watering, probably from the smell of the balm.

According to Asha Andin Aqila (18), the owner of a 2.5-year-old male cat named 'Abang', the cat has been frequently licking her grandmother's balm for the past six months. The balm is used by her grandmother to relieve dizziness, aches, and colds.

Despite being forbidden, Abang continues to hide the balm under his body to prevent it from being taken away.

"Abang sleeps in my grandmother's room, as she is fond of using the balm. Whenever he sleeps in grandmother's room, he requires a balm, such as this one or a regular green one. There are no negative effects on my cat, and he even consumes the balm like a snack," added the girl known as Aca.

Aca added that lately her cat also likes to lick the balm applied to the neck or hands. Of her seven cats, only Abang likes to eat the balm.

Footage filmed on Sunday (24/3/2024) in Bukittinggi city, West Sumatra province.
