On March 24, a bit snowy, a number of tourists were fighting with each other next to the 4680-meter stone tablet of the crowded Yulong Snow Mountain Observation platform in Lijiang, Yunnan Province. The tourists around shouted to persuade them: "Don't fight, don't fight..." And try to pull them apart. Witnesses said the tourists were fighting over taking photos.

On March 25, a staff member of the tourist center of Yulong Snow Mountain Scenic spot said that the conflict between tourists was indeed caused by seizing the photo position, and the staff near the observation platform arrived at the scene in time. Finally the visitors involved in the fight walked away without entanglement, and no tourists were injured.

In response, the staff of Yulongshan Police Station of Yulong Naxi Autonomous County, Yulong City, Yunnan Province, responded that more follow-up about the issue would be released.

3月25日，玉龙雪山景区游客中心一名工作人员称，游客冲突确实是因抢占拍照位置引发的，观景台附近工作人员及时到现场处理了，双方也没有再纠缠就走开了，没有发生游客受伤的情况。
对此，云南省丽江市玉龙纳西族自治县公安局玉龙山派出所工作人员回应称，已经处理了，后续情况会发布警情通报。
