In a video captured on March 16, 2024, in Kaizhou, Chongqing, a 5-year-old American shorthair tabby cat Huzi (Tiger) was seen assisting a store clerk by biting through packing tape.

The gray feline showcased its utility by enabling the staff to swiftly package parcels, prompting the clerk to jest, "These teeth work as well as scissors!"

Chinese netizens humorously suggested, "Time to pay the kitty a wage."

According to the staff of the pet store, she was packing for a customer and Huzi unexpectedly bit the tape to help without order. Huzi damaged some goods valued thousands of RMB for mischief before and the staff joked that Huzi worked to pay off its debts.

She also mentioned that the cat has only bitten once so people should not worry too much about its safety.
