This is the moment a dad was caught on his Ring doorbell camera - falling off a wheelie bin.

Matt Gentle, 40, went to change the batteries in two security cameras outside his home but climbed on the wrong bin.

The bin wasn't as strong as he thought and gave way - sending him toppling into the bushes.

Dad-of-two Matt, a car sprayer from Croydon, south London, said his wife and kids have been enjoying the footage, captured on March 12 at 7:09am.

He said: "It was hilarious - I climbed onto the bin that can't take my weight."

"I would have laughed so hard if I'd seen that."

"I'm too heavy to be standing on stuff like that - but you never learn. I do things like that all the time."

"The kids love the video. My boy watches it all the time."
