A Hindu priest brought sacred fire at a public place from Shrinathji temple, the head seat of Pushtimarg sect in Nathdwara. During the religious procession, security personnel fired from the gun. People from all over the country reached Nathdwara to see the 40 feet high historic Holi.

Holi holds a special significance in Nathdwara, as devotees gather to celebrate the festival with Lord Shrinathji, a manifestation of Lord Krishna. The festivities begin several days before the main Holi day, with special rituals and prayers offered to the deity. Devotees throng the Shrinathji Temple, adorned with vibrant flowers and decorations, to seek the blessings of the divine and immerse themselves in the joyous atmosphere of Holi.
