A wild boar stormed into a village, resulting in injuries to two villagers in southern China.

The terrifying CCTV footage was filmed in Guangyuan City in Sichuan Province on March 24. A wild boar barged into a villager's home, targeting an elderly resident. Despite attempts to fend off the animal, the elderly individual was knocked to the ground by the relentless assault.

The boar then continued its frenzied attack, viciously tearing at the clothes of the fallen villager. Even as the villager attempted to rise, the boar persisted, ultimately tearing off one of the victim's shoes. The ordeal lasted over two minutes, with the villager resorting to defending themselves with a wooden stick in a desperate struggle for survival.

Remarkably, the elderly villager managed to repel the boar, only for the animal to circle back and attack the niece who had come to assist. With sheer determination, the elderly villager confronted the boar once more, engaging in a perilous confrontation until the beast retreated.

Mr. Luo, the secretary of the Songbai Village Party Branch, recounted receiving a distressing phone call about the wild boar incursion. Despite the village's remote location, authorities were promptly alerted, and efforts were made to provide immediate assistance to the injured.

Luo revealed that injuries sustained by the victims included wounds inflicted by the boar's tusks and spinal injuries for the elderly individual, while the niece suffered a fractured rib after a fall. He emphasised that such attacks were unprecedented in the village, where encounters with wild boars typically involved crop damage.

Authorities from the local forestry department assured that measures would be taken to prevent similar incidents, including increased patrols by forest rangers.

居民家的监控视频显示，该事件发生在3月24日中午12点左右，一头野猪突然冲进一户村民家中，因为村民家未设围墙，野猪径直撞向老人，老人挥手驱赶但仍被野猪撞倒在地。老人倒地后，野猪未停止攻击，对着老人的衣服疯狂撕咬，老人尝试起身，但野猪不依不饶，随后老人挣脱并起身拿起木棍。这时野猪更加疯狂的攻击老人，在老人再次倒地后，野猪仍然连续多次冲撞攻击，最终将老人的一支鞋给咬掉。整个攻击持续了2分多钟，在老人用木棍自卫，与其殊死搏斗的情况下，野猪才慢悠悠的离去。野猪被老人击退后，不料又绕到房后，并且冲撞袭击了前来帮忙的侄女，老人听到侄女的呼救声后，拿起棍子前去查看，再次在巷道里与野猪展开了对峙，经过顽强搏斗，最终将野猪驱离。
据松柏村党支部书记罗先生介绍，24日他接到电话得知野猪进村，因为该村地处山区，他当时人在村外，开车需要约半小时才能抵达，于是第一时间联系了派出所、林业部门以及离老人家较近的年轻人先去查看。当他抵达现场时，野猪已离去，老人身上有伤，在众人劝说下前去就医。
罗先生表示，老人身上有野猪獠牙导致的外伤，但不算严重，在搏斗中其腰椎也有所受伤。此外，还有一名女子也受了伤，她是老人的侄女，当时听到动静后前往查看，结果和逃离的野猪迎面撞上并跌到坎下，肋骨骨折，也一同在医院就医。
“此前村里没有发生过野猪伤人的事情。”罗先生表示，野猪糟蹋庄稼时有发生，当地对野生动物伤人和毁坏财物都有统一投保，目前保险公司工作人员也已前往现场勘察过了。发生野猪袭击老人的事情后，当地警方和狩猎队都对该事件做出相应处理，不过野猪已经上山了，他们组织搜寻但未果。
青川县林业局野生动物保护部门工作人员介绍，这次野猪造成了一位老汉和一名女子受伤，老人身上有外伤及腰椎受伤，女子肋骨骨折，目前都在医院治疗，情况平稳。该工作人员还介绍，当地野猪种群数量比较大，但野猪伤人的事情极少发生。为了防止类似事情发生，后续会有护林员加强巡逻。
林业部门工作人员提醒，野猪下山可能是在觅食，遇到时请尽量远离。如果条件允许，可以利用铁盆等制造噪音驱赶，也可以及时向警方或林业部门求助，但尽量不要靠近，以保证人身安全。
