The IDF Intelligence Directorate has unveiled alarming revelations regarding the exploitation of Shifa Hospital by Hamas and Islamic Jihad operatives for military purposes. Video footage of interrogations conducted by Unit 504 sheds light on the clandestine activities of these organizations within the hospital premises.
According to the captured militants, who were apprehended in the vicinity of Shifa Hospital, the facility serves as a hub for Hamas and Islamic Jihad operations, with an estimated "600 to 1,000 Hamas operatives" allegedly hiding within its walls. Shocking details emerged during the interrogations, exposing the extensive infiltration of Hamas infrastructure throughout the hospital.
The testimonies divulge the presence of senior Hamas figures utilizing the hospital as a command center for orchestrating and coordinating attacks. One Islamic Jihad operative disclosed that "the operatives are in all the buildings, scattered everywhere," indicating the pervasive nature of organozations' activities within the medical facility.
