The Negeri Sembilan Fisheries Department released 350,400 lobster spawn in seven locations in the state's public waters in an effort to increase the stock of ground fish.

Lobster seeds donated by the Lobster Breeding Center (PPUG), Kampung Acheh, Perak have been released in rivers in seven districts that have a distribution of lobsters, including Linggi River in the Pengkalan Kempas area which is known as the 'spit blue' deep.

"This lobster seed release program is indeed beneficial to land fishermen and also recreational fishermen.

"After five to six months, the lobster seeds will grow and the results can be obtained, but it should be known that we will not be able to recover 100 percent of the released shrimp seeds because they are also food for many fish,".
