Unseen footage emerges from the Tempi train crash site as new evidence published on media outlets showing that the scene of the fatal train accident in Tempi that cost 57 lives in 2023 was altered. Experts and private investigators hired by some of the families’ victims, filed a report about the train crash to the special investigator in Greece. Photos included in the report, collected from foreign media such as the BBC and DW, show the accident scene was altered, destroying important evidence and so hindering justice’s work.

This unseen footage filmed 1 day after the disaster shows the scene of the 2-train collision in Tempe - The footage shows the remains of the engines of the commercial and passenger train shortly before they were removed by the scene by construction cranes

Traces of the explosion and the large fire that followed are visible on the sheet metal of the engines as well as on the wagons of the commercial train. The video shows the cranes working in the rain to remove the wagons, which they are depositing in a separate area, while rescue teams continue to search through the wreckage.
