A rescue team, with the help of an excavator, managed to hoist a bull out from a sewage tank in Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh, on March 27.

The team from the cow protection organisation, Atal Kamdhenu Gau Seva Sansthan, arrived at the scene and tied ropes around the bovine's body.

They then lifted the animal out of the ditch.

A bull was rescued by members of an organisation as well as the municipality after it had fallen into a rank in central India's Madhya Pradesh.

This incident took place in Shahdol district of the state on March 27.

Visuals showed the rescue operation taking place. The rescuers were from the Atal Kamdhenu Gau Seva Sansthan, a cow protection organization led by Gaurav Ralhi Mishra. They rushed to the spot after receiving the news. The men in this team tied ropes around the bull's body and later, the bovine was pulled out with the help of a crane.

The bull stood silently inside the cramped tank and later, was pulled out, much to the joy of everyone. The men later untied the ropes from the bovine's body and the animal was set free after being successfully rescued. The depth of the tank wasn't much and hence the rescue operation could be complete in a short span of time.
