Sewage pollution in the River Gannel, Crantock, Newquay
According to the Safe seas and river app there was a sewage discharge into the river Gannel leading into the sea on Crantock Beach at 8.36am on 28th March 2024. This is the second time in the last week sewage has over flowed into the river. The sewer which overflowed is one of South West Waters sewers. The river which is usually very clean and clear is now Brown with pollution along the shore line. Video was shot on my phone as I walked along the coast line of the river. Exclusive to Newsflare
