This is the remarkable moment eight strangers banded together to rescue the occupants of an SUV that overturned following a collision in Florida.

Dramatic CCTV shows the harrowing moment a grey SUV careened through an intersection, only to be struck by an oncoming white SUV in Daytona Beach on March 26.

The impact sent the grey vehicle spinning out of control and flipping onto its side, while the white SUV came to a halt nearby.

Initially, a tense silence hung over the scene as bystanders assessed the situation.

Then, in a heartwarming display of compassion, several motorists pulled over and rushed to the aid of those in need. Among them was a passenger from the white SUV involved in the collision.

With remarkable coordination, the group of eight individuals positioned themselves alongside the overturned SUV, grasped the roof, and began rocking the vehicle back and forth.

With a final collective effort, they successfully flipped the SUV the right way up, ensuring the safety of its occupants. None of them were injured.

Reflecting on the incident, Amy Ridgely, one of the rescuers and an Army veteran, emphasized the importance of acting swiftly in times of need.
