Disaster officials rescue life of young man who fell into a ditch in northern India
Officials of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) came to the aid of a young man who fell into a ditch in northern India's Uttarakhand.
This incident happened in the Pangot area of Nainital district on March 28.
Visuals showed the officials taking away the man who had fallen into a ditch on a stretcher. According to a report, the SDRF officials received information about the man falling into the deep ditch which is 100 metres low.
The officials descended down the ditch and provided some first aid to him. The officials carried the man on a stretcher for a distance of about two kilometres and took an alternative route before sending him for medical help.
The man, identified as a 16-year-old named Ayush Kohli was roaming about in the hills when he slipped and fell into the ditch. The teenager was learnt to have hailed from Mallital.
