A large cliff rockfall has blocked the beach at the seaside resort of West Bay in Dorset, UK after heavy rain and rough seas from Storm Nelson battered the coastline. This is the third cliff rockfall fall in as many months with this one happening at the start of the busy Easter holidays. The iconic sandstone cliffs have become very prone to erosion over the last few years with coastguard warning visitors to keep clear of them. The South West Coast path which runs along the top of the cliff was recently closed by Dorset Council due to the rockfall risk.
