Hello everyone! I'm Darina, I came from Russia. (I'm) in China for learning Chinese. And now I'm a student of Hebei University. I really like to travel around China. And today I came to the modern city Xiong'an. It was established in 2017 and for many years it had been simply traditional countryside. But today, it is one of the most modern cities in China. Let's have a look.

On April 1, 2017, China announced plans to establish 
Xiong'an New Area, about 100 km southwest of Beijing

The new area is designed to take over Beijing's functions 
nonessential to its role as the national capital

Half size of a traditional bus, this mini-vehicle can get live traffic and road conditions of places within 240 meters, an area equivalent to a stadium. Meanwhile, its decision-making system can respond to any accident in 100 milliseconds, 90% less time than a human driver.
In Xiong’an, intelligent transportation means more than automatic vehicles. The street light poles constantly flashing outside car windows also tell a lot. These poles are installed with radar and various types of sensors and thus can collect road information and upload it to the cloud 24 hours a day.

This 5G robot was jointly developed by China Mobile and Migu Cafe. This robot is capable of carrying out various coffee-making steps, such as stewing, steaming, and brewing.

Hand-brewed coffee, simple as it may seem. Each step of the process is actually a test for baristas. It's hard for people to stay exactly the same in every single move. However, it's easier for a robot to do so. This amazing 5G robot barista is set to follow methods used by winners of the World Barista Championship.

Xiong'an New Area is a "city of the future" and a highland for innovation. In the future, Xiong'an will surely become a new symbol of China.
